How to Balance Home and Life

At home, I’m mom before anything else and use a different set of skills in the day to day operations within my house. The systems I have in place to keep me on track vary based on what is needed each day and most of the time it consists of me keeping up with my son’s busy football practice and game schedule. I took those same skills and applied organization and time management in my career. From active duty Air Force when I became a mom while working full time, I was challenged with finding balance and I have made it work the past 16 years, even with transitioning into the classroom as an educator.

See listen I stumbled upon edupreneurship after feeling like I needed to be doing more with my career. Between being creative, inquisitive, educated and driven I needed an outlet for my ideas because getting started and sharing your skills is one thing but being consistent is how you build a community which us why I’m glad you’re here. See I had to get started somewhere and I’m encouraging you along the way. My first book was the moment I decided to take my business and personal brand to the next level. I had no clue what I was getting into but I knew I had a unique skill set and I was going to use it.

You have to take ownership of your personal transformation when building your personal brand in your business, your career, and your life as you pursue your goals and design the life you want to live. That is where the balance come in because your life is not all about work, it is about setting your goals which must be aligned with your core values as you work to leave a legacy for your family, gain financial stability, create multiple streams of income, and take up S.P.A.C.E based on your skills, interests and talents.

In challenging times, I want you to think about the reason you are ready to change your life. Remember that what you spend 80% of your time thinking about and working on is your biggest motivator.  You can make this personal transformation work for you, whether you want to keep your 9-5 or not; while reinventing your personal brand in your business, career, or personal life, the goal is to be more productive.
